Healthy Life Styles for Children 

During Missouri-Arkansas District's stragetic planning meetings that concluded at the District convention in Fort Smith, AR in 2004. It was agreed that the district needed a project that was of interest to both Missouri and Arkansas, and would effect the life styles of the children in our district. The Missouri-Arkansas District has therefore adopted

Childhood Obesity as a District Project.
Obesity in children and adolescents is a serious issue with many health and social consequences that often continue into adulthood. Implementing prevention programs and getting a better understanding of treatment for youngsters is important to controlling the obesity epidemic.
